About the College

The College of Dentistry (COD) was established in the academic year 1997-1998 as the first oral and dental health teaching institution in the United Arab Emirates. The college’s programs are tailored to meet the oral and dental health needs of the UAE community, focusing on the prevention of oral and dental disease. Mission The College of Dentistry reflects the mission of Ajman University to provide dental educational programs in the UAE, to initiate and develop basic and clinical research and to offer high quality oral healthcare to meet the needs of the region. The College of Dentistry aims to prepare graduates who are highly qualified in dental sciences to deliver compassionate and ethical  orofacial healthcare services. Objectives The College of Dentistry aims to:  educate and train a new generation of oral health professionals to world-class standards  implement a comprehensive oral healthcare program with an emphasis on prevention  provide community dentistry services that meet world-class standards  initiate scientific research in oral health in collaboration with prestigious international dental and medical institutions, and companies related to dentistry
