About the College

The  College of Pharmacy is committed to the education of professional and graduate students who, upon graduation, can meet the public need for safe and effective pharmaceutical care. Students and faculty generate and disseminate knowledge contributing to the education and continual professional growth of pharmacists, educators, scientists, and other healthcare professionals. The characteristics of quality instruction, basic and applied research, community and professional service, and extensive instruction in all types of pharmacy practice settings contribute to making the College of Pharmacy programs rewarding and satisfying experiences.The College of Pharmacy and the Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences and the Sharjah teaching hospital have elements of their programs at The Complex of Medical and Health Sciences Colleges, thereby enhancing the potential for interdisciplinary learning, collaborative practice, and research. Both education and research are also strengthened by the Clinical Training Center (CTC), Sharjah Surgical Institute (SSI) and the Sharjah Research Institute situated within the same complex.
